Data we collect
When you use Tassena we may collect:
- your first name or nickname;
- your email address;
- your date of birth;
- your profile photos;
- your bio and profile information;
- your interests;
- your dating preferences and intents;
- your interactions (likes, reactions, matches);
- the messages you exchange with other members;
- information related to a Premium subscription;
- reports sent to support.
Location data
With your permission, Tassena may use your location to improve profile discovery.
GPS coordinates are not kept permanently.
We only use the information required for distance and discovery features.
Why we use your data
Your data is used to:
- create and manage your account;
- enable meetings between users;
- surface relevant profiles;
- power reactions, matches and conversations;
- keep the community safe;
- prevent abuse and fake profiles;
- improve the app;
- manage Premium subscriptions;
- handle support requests.
We never sell your personal data.
Visibility of information
The information displayed on your profile is what you choose to share with other members.
Your conversations stay private between the participants involved.
Our technical providers
To operate Tassena, some data may be processed by our technical providers:
- Supabase : authentication, database and secure storage;
- Stripe : Premium payment processing;
- other providers required for the technical operation of the service.
These providers are only used to deliver the services required by Tassena.
Data security
We put in place technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account directly from the app.
When you delete:
- your profile is removed;
- your photos are removed;
- your associated data is removed or processed in line with applicable legal obligations.
Your rights
Under GDPR you notably have the following rights:
- access your data;
- request corrections;
- request deletion;
- restrict certain processing;
- object to certain uses;
- request portability where applicable.
Adult users
Tassena is reserved for people aged 18 or over.
Changes to this policy
This policy may evolve to reflect changes to Tassena or legal obligations.
Users will be informed of any significant changes.
